National Foundation for Cancer Research to “Play4theCure”

 

LEICESTER, Mass.  – All of the  fall sports teams at Becker College have joined hands with the National Foundation for Cancer Research to participate in its fundraising campaign entitled Play4theCure, in which sports teams across the country are invited to participate by committing to donate proceeds from at least one game to NFCR.

The teams will be raising funds during the games listed below:

Saturday, October 5, 2013
Field Hockey vs. Regis College 12:00 p.m.
Women’s Soccer vs. Elms College 2:30 p.m.

Wednesday, October 9, 2013
Women’s Tennis vs. Mitchell College 3:00 p.m.
Women’s Volleyball vs. Southern Vermont 7:00 p.m.

Saturday, October 12, 2013
Men’s Soccer vs. Regis College 12:00 p.m.

Saturday, October 19, 2013
Equestrian Home Show 9:00 a.m.

Saturday, October 26, 2013
Football vs. Mount Ida  1:00 p.m.

Players on each team name team will be wearing pink socks in support of the cause.  Some teams will even trade in their royal blue game jerseys for pink.
 

T-shirts will be sold for $10, and bracelets will be sold for $2. All proceeds will be donated to NFCR.
