Welcome to the Student Athlete Advisory Committee Webpage!
What is SAAC?
A student-athlete advisory committee also known as SAAC, is a committee made up of student-athletes assembled to provide insight on the student-athlete experience. The SAAC offers input on the rules, regulations and policies that affect student athletes’ lives.
At Becker College, the SAAC organization is comprised of two student athletes from each team who serve as representatives for their sport on the committee. Representatives are expected to be at bi-monthly meetings and are strongly encouraged to attend as well as volunteer at all committe events.
Becker's SAAC includes an Executive Board of five officers including two Co-president's, one Vice president, a Secretary and a Treasurer. Elections for officer positions take place when a senior is graduating from their role or if an officer steps down and the position becomes vacant.
For more information on committee members, officer positions, as well as regulations and an outline to committee procedures, please see the Becker College Student Athlete Advisory Committee Constitution.
