What is SAAC?
A student-athlete advisory committee also known as SAAC, is a committee made up of student-athletes assembled to provide insight on the student-athlete experience. The SAAC offers input on the rules, regulations and policies that affect student athletes’ lives.
At Becker College, the SAAC organization is comprised of two student athletes from each team who serve as representatives for their sport on the committee. Representatives are expected to be at bi-monthly meetings and are strongly encouraged to attend as well as volunteer at all committe events.
New for the 2015-2016 academic year, Becker's SAAC will include an Executive Board of five officers including two Co-president's, one Vice president, a Secretary and a Treasurer. Elections for officer positions take place when a senior is graduating from their role or if an officer steps down and the position becomes vacant.

Please speak to your team's current representatives or email the SAAC advisor for more information on how to get involved, and even become a committee member! As a SAAC member, you have the opportunity to get involved, rasie your voice and make changes that directly effect your collegiate athletic experience as well as the experiences of other student athletes on your campus!
