Fask Scores 100th in Hawks Win

Leicester, Mass.- Becker College senior Josh Fask (Worcester, Mass.) scored his 100th career goal as the Hawks defeated Daniel Webster 23-5 in men’s lacrosse action.

Becker scored six unanswered goals to start the game. Aaron Fill (Ladner, BC) got the scoring started 56 seconds into the game on an assist from Jeff Petersen (Syracuse, NY.).  Josh Fask made the score 2-0 with and unassisted goal with 12:54 remaining in the first quarter.

With the Hawks in the drivers’ seat at 6-0, Parker Condit (Blairstown, NJ.) finally got the Eagles on the board with his first goal of the season.  After John Bourque (Atkinson, NH.) put the Hawks ahead 7-1, Josh Fask made the score 8-1 when he ripped a shot into the lower right side of the net, making the score 8-1. The goal was Fasks 100th career goal. Jeff Petersen led the Hawks with five first half goals.

In the second half the Hawks outscored the Eagles 8-2. Jeff Petersen led the Hawks with 6 goals and 2 assists.  Josh Fask and Aaron Fill chipped in with four goals each. Alex McKenzie (Nashua, NH.) led the Eagles with goals.

Daniel Webster goalie Tommy Driscoll (South Boston, Mass.) made 15 saves in a losing effort. With the loss the Eagles fell to 2-4 on the season.  Becker goalie Ryan Murphy (Attleboro, Mass.) made 10 saves in the victory. The Hawks improved to 4-6 on the season.
