Robert McLaughlin enters his first year as head coach of the
Becker College baseball team.
Coach McLaughlin comes to Becker from WPI, where he served as an
assistant coach for the past two years. WPI's run during
McLaughlin's tenure was incredibly successful, winning a conference
championship and heading to the NCAAs for the first time.
McLaughlin has also worked with the local Worcester Tornadoes and
has coached at Uxbridge High School.
McLaughlin played collegiately at Division I Northeastern
University, where he was an Academic All-American, and a key
participant on two conference championship teams, winning an award
for leadership as a senior.
"I am very grateful and excited to be given the opportunity to
coach baseball at Becker. My staff and I are eager to build
off the success of the program and make the necessary adjustments
that will take Becker Baseball to the next level," said
McLaughlin.`
