Field Hockey Earns ECAC Bid

Leicester, Mass.- Becker College Field Hockey has been selected to participate in the Eastern College Athletic Conference Tournament (ECAC). The Hawks last game was on November 1^st, when Hawks defeated Elms College 5-0 in the New England Collegiate Conference championship game. The ladies have been practicing ever since, with the hope that they would be selected for the ECAC tournament. The Hawks (12-9) will travel to Westfield State (11-7) on Wednesday November 12^th at 2pm. The Hawks enter the tournament as the 6^th seed, Westfield earned the 3^rd seed.  On October 15^th the Owls defeated the Hawks 4-1 at Alumni Field. The last time the Hawks defeated Westfield was on September 14, 2005.
