Field Hockey Gets Blanked By Husson

Leicester, Mass.- Husson University defeated Becker College 9-0 in non-conference women's field hockey action at Alumni Field.

Husson sophomore Elizabeth Noddin (Skowhegan, ME.) led the eagles with three goals, all coming in the first half of play. Sabrina Vaillancourt (Newport, ME.) and Emily Murphy (Leeds, ME.) chipped in with two goals each. Senior Lori Hiltz (Norridgewock, ME.) and freshman Amanda Stubbs (Keene, N.H.) each had a goal to finish out the scoring for Husson.

Husson goalkeeper Kristen Capen (Leeds, ME.) earned the win, playing all but 11:35 of the second half. The victory lifts Husson to 5-1 on the season. Becker goalkeeper Samantha-Jo Dilkes (Little Falls, N.J.) made ten saves. The loss drops Becker to 1-6 on the year.
