Coach Stonehouse is in her eighth season coaching field
hockey at Becker College. Tanya enjoyed a fine career as
a student-athlete at David Prouty High School where she earned team
MVP honors twice. Coach Stonehouse then took her goaltending skills
to Clark University, where She earned the Athletic Department
Senior Class Award as well as being a member of the NFHCA
all-academic team. The Lady Hawks, since joining the NCAA in 1998,
have won three North Atlantic Conference championships and
have had the best regular season record among NAC schools for the
past five years. In 2003, Stonehouse coached the Lady Hawks to into
the ECAC Tournament. In 2008 Stonehouse was named Coach of the
Year by the New England Collegiate Conference. Stonehouse has
guided the Lady Hawks to back to back New England Collegiate
Conference championships. During the past two championship seasons
the Hawks haven’t lost a conference game, including post
season the Hawks are 20-0 since joining the NECC.
