Junior guard Kareem Davis (Lowell, Mass. / St. John's) of the Becker College men's basketball team has been named the New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Week for the week ending December 3, 2017.
Davis continued to demonstrate why he's one of the best players in the region, averaging 27 points, five rebounds three assists and 2.5 steals per game. The junior shot 47 percent from the floor, 47 percent from behind the arc and 92 percent from the free throw line. This included a 28 point, five rebound performance in the Hawks' 92-73 in over Clark. As of press time, Davis was ranked second in the NECC with 21.8 points per game.
Davis was likewise named Becker Athlete of the Week for the same period, as well as making the WACBA Honor Roll.
Davis will lead the Hawks into action again on Tuesday night when they play at Worcester State.
