Davis named WACBA Player of the Week

LEICESTER, Mass. --- Senior guard Kareem Davis (Lowell, Mass. / St. John's) of the Becker College men's basketball has been named the Worcester Area College Basketball Association (WACBA) Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending January 20th, 2019.

Davis posted another incredible week for the Hawks, as the senior team captain averaged 21.7 points, 4.7 steals, 3.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game over three games. First against New England College on Tuesday, he finished with 19 points and five steals. In Thursday's 84-56 victory at Elms, Davis poured in 32 points, shooting 50 percent from the floor and 40 percent from behind the arc. Finally, against Newbury on Saturday, Davis finished with 14 points.

It is Davis' second WACBA Player of the Week award this season, having previously been recognized for the week ending December 16th, 2018.

UP NEXT
The Hawks will be back on the court on Tuesday when they travel to Lesley University for an 8:00 p.m. game. The Nighthawks will travel to Fisher College for their next game, that coming on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
