Hawks Trip Terriers

Leicester, Mass. - Becker College Men's Lacrosse picked up a 17-9 decision over Thomas College earning head coach Shane Parker his first collegiate win. Junior attack Josh Fask (Newburyport, Mass.) pace the Hawks with six goals and four assists in the Saturday afternoon tilt.

Thomas scored first and held a close 2-1 lead at the end of the first period. The Hawks would explode for 7 goals in second period to take an 8-5 lead at intermission.

Fask scored his first hat trick in the second period and his second three goals in the 3rd quarter. The Hawks held the Terriers scoreless in the 3rd quarter. Junior midfielder Aaron Fill (Ladner, BC) also had three goals in the period.

Thomas had a brief comeback bid with four goals in four minutes in the fourth quarter, but the Hawks defense held fast for the win.

Fill finished the game with five goals and two assists, sophomore attack Brett Dowty (Shelton, CT) and freshman Alec Abrahamson both tallied twice for the Hawks.

For the Terriers Dustin Green, Kolby Pecham and Luke Collier each had two goals.

Goaltender Peter Fellows (Boylston, Mass.) had 14 saves for the win for the Hawks.
