Fill Nets 100th In Win
Leicester, Mass.- Senior Aaron Fill (Ladner, BC) scored his second goal of the game with just under two minutes left in the first quarter to notch his 100th goal of his career and lead the Becker Hawks to a 21-4 win over the visiting Mariners of Mitchell College in men’s lacrosse action.
The Hawks, playing in their final game of the year, finish the season at a respectable 7-8. Mitchell’s record drops to 1-9.
Becker was led by Josh Fask’s (Worcester, Mass.) seven goals giving him 70 points on the season. Fill finished the game with 5 points (3goals, 2 assists) while Joe Ignagni (Kingston, Mass.), Jay Ahern (Plymouth, Mass.), Jon Nessen (Levittown, PA) and Jeff Petersen (Syracuse, NY) each had 4 points in the win.
Scoring goals for Mitchell were Aharon Wall (Hyde Park, Mass.), Joseph Rice (Northbridge, Mass.), Adam Grillo (Waterford, Conn.) and Steven Barnett (Clinton, Conn.).
