Men's Lax Defeats Regis For 6th Win

Leicester, Mass. - Becker College defeated Regis College 26-7 tonight in men’s lacrosse action. Becker improves to 6-7 while Regis remains winless at 0-8.

The Hawks had nine names on the score sheet. Senior attack Aaron Fill (Ladner, BC) led the game with 8 goals on 10 shots. Josh Fask (Worcester, Mass.) contributed 7 points (2 goals, 5 assists) while John Bourque (Atkinson, NH) (4G, 1A), Jeff Petersen (Syracuse, NY) (5G) and Joe Ignagni (Kingston, Mass.) (3G, 2A) each had 5 points.

Regis was led by Bradford Hastings (Mansfield, Mass.) who had a team high 3 goals.

The Hawks outshot Regis 58-35 and held a 53-25 advantage in ground balls.

Becker Goaltender Ryan Murphy (Attleboro, Mass.) had 14 saves in the win, Regis netminder Andrew LaMacchia (Lynn, Mass.) had 10 saves in the loss.
