LEICESTER, Mass. ---- The Becker College men's lacrosse lost 23-6 to visiting Northern Vermont University Lyndon on Thursday afternoon at Alumni Field on the Becker campus in Leicester.

FOR THE HAWKS
• Senior Long-Stick-Middle Lewis Jaworski (Cambridge, Mass. / Cambridge) scored two goals for the Hawks, with one assist and four ground balls.
• Freshman attacker Cameron Sangster (Columbus, Ohio / Olentangy) scored twice, the second multi-goal game of his career.
• Sophomore attacker Matthew Guerin (East Longmeadow, Mass. / East Longmeadow) and freshman midfielder Tyler Forest (Simi Valley, Calif. / Royal) each scored for the Hawks.
• Freshman goalkeeper Daniel Whittenburg (Eastford, Conn. / Woodstock Academy) took the loss despite totaling 21 saves.

FOR THE HORNETS
• Senior attacker Spencer Aubin (Sharon, Mass. / Sharon) led NVU Lyndon with seven goals, five assists and three ground balls.
• Sophomore attacker Taner Onor (East Montpelier, Vt. / Union 32) contributed six goals and four assists.
• Senior midfielder Shea Jones (Hull, Mass. / Hull) racked up four goals, five assists and six ground balls.
• Sophomore midfielder Anthony Townsend (Pembroke, Mass. / Pembroke) tallied two goals and 10 ground balls.
• Junior midfielder Jet Magri (Lincolnville, Maine / Camden Hills) scored twice with seven ground balls.
• Freshman attacker Nick Clark (Swanton, Vt. / Bellows Free Academy) added one goal and three assists.
• Freshman midfielder Callan Singer (St. Johnsbury, VT / St. Johnsbury Academy) dished out two assists, while senior long-stick-middle Brandon Hunter (Glastonbury, Conn. / Glastonbury) recorded eight ground balls and a game-high five caused turnovers.
• Freshman goalie Aaron Florence (Mandeville, La. / Fontainebleau) picked up the win with two saves in 34:10 minutes. Florence also came back into the game late as a field player and scored his first goal of the season.

UP NEXT
The Hawks will be back on the field on Saturday when they travel to New England College for a 3:00 p.m. game. The Hornets host SUNY Delhi in their next contest on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
