Men's Soccer Drops Second Straight
PAXTON, Mass. - Clark jumped on the board in the very first minute of play as Trevor Hendry (Waterford, Conn.) beat the Hawks' goalie after getting a beautiful feed from Ranallo.
The Cougars then pulled away in the 19th minute of play, scoring three times in just over a minute of play. Mike Trobagis (Acton, Mass.) collected two goals during the flurry, while Will Van Noppen (Providence, R.I) scored once, and Ranallo added two more assists.
Clark went into halftime with a 23-1 advantage in shots and a four goals to nil lead.
The Cougars kept the pressure on in the second half, scoring three more times, including two scores by junior Tim Doenmez (Dublin, N.H.) and another by freshman Shadoe Hanson (Kingston, Jamaica) to put the finishing touches on the 7-0 victory.
All four teams will be back in action on Wednesday. Tournament Champions WPI will take battle Wentworth on the road, Clark will travel to face Colby-Sawyer, Becker will host Mass Maritime, and the AMCATS will try and bounce back versus Emerson on the road.
