Markens Benoit is entering his first season as the head coach of the Becker College men’s soccer program. Coach Benoit comes to Becker after spending the last three years as the head coach of Oakmont Regional High School in Ashburnham, Massachusetts, where he won the 2009 Coach of the Year award.

Markens is also the Program Director at the Zalgiris Soccer Academy in Rutland, Massachusetts, where he manages fitness summer clinics and structures year round technical trainings.

Before Markens began his coaching career, he played collegiately at Southern Connecticut State University, where he played in four consecutive National Championship Games, winning the national crown twice.
