Seven Hawks Earn NECC All-Academic Honors

Leicester, Mass. - A total of 89 student-athletes have been named to the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Academic All-Conference for the winter/spring 2010-11 semester, it was announced today by Commissioner Del Malloy.

Representing the Hawks were senior Drew Schroll (Men's Basketball),Senior Heidi Miller ,(Women's Basketball), sophomore Theresa Boulier (Women's Basketball), sophomore Jheremy Brown (Baseball), sophomore Todd Tompkins (Baseball), senior Rachel Weidele (Softball), and sophomore Brandon Parkhouse (Men's Tennis).

The NECC began its inaugural year in 2008-09 with nine full-time members including Bay Path College (Longmeadow, Mass.), Becker College (Leicester, Mass.), Daniel Webster College (Nashua, N.H.), Elms College (Chicopee, Mass.), Lesley University (Cambridge, Mass.), Mitchell College (New London, Conn.), Newbury College (Brookline, Mass.), Southern Vermont College (Bennington, Vt.) and Wheelock College (Boston, Mass.).
