Lady Hawks Dropped By Eagles

Leicester, Mass.- Daniel Webster went on an 18-0 first half run, as the Eagles defeated Becker College 86-41 in women's basketball action.

Daniel Webster had four players in double figures. Junior Joyce Chagan (Boothbay Harbor, ME) led the Eagles with 19 points. Vanessa Bosques (N.Windham, Conn.) chipped in with 18 points. Alycia Gervais (Windham, Conn.) and Tonisha Tate (Lynn, Mass.) combined for 25 points. With the win Daniel Webster improves to 15-4 overall and 10-0 in the NECC.

Courtney Fiske (Westfield, Mass.) was the lone Hawk in double figures, with 13 points. Fiske also led the Hawks with eight rebounds. The Becker is now 4-15 overall and 4-6 in the NECC.
