Lady Hawks Suffer 81-48 Loss To MCLA

Leicester, Mass. – Becker College suffered a 81-48 defeat at the Hands of MCLA in non-conference women's basketball action this evening at the Leicester Gymnasium.

The Trailblazers (2-0) were led by Lucy Tremblay (East Greenbush, N.Y.) who scored a game high 23 points. Sophomore Danielle Scolpino (Bethel, Conn.) chipped in with 13 points off the bench. Preseason All-American Jen Wehner (Cooperstown, N.Y.) cleaned up under the hoop, pulling down a game high 13 rebounds.  Wehner also netted  nine, coming a point shy of a double-double.

Becker College (0-3) was led by senior Kristina Desnoyers (Adams, Mass.) and sophomore Jackie Chila (Monroe, Conn.)  who scored 12 points each. Chelsea Joubert (Westborough, Mass.) added ten points in a losing effort.

MCLA will return to action on Sunday, November 27th when they host Williams College at 4 p.m. The Hawks will try to get back on track when they host Mont Ida on Tuesday, November 29th at 7 p.m.
