Harrison's Career-High 30 Points Paces Women's Basketball Over Wildcats

LEICESTER, Mass.- Becker College defeated Bay Path University 71-59 in New England Collegiate Conference women's basketball action Saturday afternoon at the Leicester Gymnasium. The win lifts the Hawks record to 12-10 (12-4 NECC) while the Wildcats slide to 2-19 (1-15 NECC).

Becker freshman Cassidy Harrison (Foxborough, Mass.) scored a career-high 30 points to pace the Hawks. Ciara McKissick (Charlton, Mass.) earned a double-double with 12 points and a team-high 11 boards.  Adrianna Dowdy (East Haven, Conn.) chipped in with eight points while pulling down 17 boards in the victory. Marissa Turner (Coventry, R.I.)  gave the Hawks quality minutes off the bench, scoring seven points while collecting four rebounds in just seven minutes on the floor.

The Wildcats were paced by Dallas Jackson (Springfield, Mass.), who tallied a double-double with 23 points and 17 rebounds. Jackson finished her day just three points shy of 1,000 for her career.  Brenna Roy (Stafford, Springs, Conn.) added 17 points in a losing effort for the Wildcats.

Becker returns to action on Monday, February 13th with a home contest against Fitchburg State University at 6:00 p.m.
