Women's Basketball downs Bay Path, 65-28

LEICESTER, Mass. --- The Becker College women's basketball team won 65-28 over visiting Bay Path University in New England Collegiate Conference action on Tuesday night at the Leicester Gymnasium.

The Hawks of Becker (10-7, 6-3 NECC) were led by sophomore guard Cassidy Harrison (Foxborough, Mass. / Foxborough) who finished with 11 points and two steals in just 18 minutes on the court. Junior forward Adrianna Dowdy (East Haven, Conn. / Hill Regional Career) filled the stat line with eight points, 13 rebounds, five assists, one steal in 22 minutes, shooting four-of-five from the floor. Sophomore guard Kelsey Maynard (Millville, Mass. / Tri-County Vocational) finished with eight points, two rebounds, two assists and two steals. Junior guard Tanaisha Espino (Southbridge, Mass. / Southbridge) came off the bench to score a career-high eight points.

The Wildcats of Bay Path (0-17, 0-10 NECC) were led by senior Paige Marshall (New Britain, Conn./Howell-Cheney Vocational) with eight points and 12 rebounds. Freshman Emmeline Bronson (Shelton, Conn./Shelton High School) also finished with eight points.

Becker will be back in action on Saturday when they host Lesley University in a 1:00 p.m. NECC game. Bay Path hosts Hampshire in their next contest on Thursday with an 8:00 p.m. tip-off.
