MEDFORD, Mass. --- The Becker College women's basketball team won their sixth straight game on Saturday afternoon with a 72-58 victory at Lesley University in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) action in Medford.

FOR THE HAWKS
• Senior forward Adrianna Dowdy (East Haven, Conn. / Hill Regional Career) led Becker with a double-double, posting 17 points with 16 rebounds, three steals and two assists.
• Junior guard Cassidy Harrison (Foxborough, Mass. / Foxborough) totaled 18 points, a team-high.
• Senior forward Ciara McKissick (Charlton, Mass. / Shepherd Hill Regional) finished with 14 points and seven rebounds.
• Sophomore guard Jazlyn Contreras (Pawtucket, R.I. / St. Mary Academy Bay View) tallied 10 points and five steals.
• With the victory, Becker remains in first place in the NECC standings, holding the tie-breaker over Mitchell College.

FOR THE LYNX
• Junior forward Dakota Jones (Torrance, Calif. / West High) led Lesley with 22 points and 10 rebounds.
• Senior guard Theresa Pereira (Hopedale, Mass. / Mount Saint Charles) went 5-of-10 from behind the arc to finish with 18 points, with seven rebounds and three steals.

TURNING POINT
• After a hotly contested first half, the Hawks started to pull away in the third, going up by 14 on a jumper from junior guard Kelsey Maynard (Millville, Mass. / Tri-County Vocational). The Lynx would never threaten again.

UP NEXT
The Hawks are back in action on Tuesday when they host Newbury College in a 6:00 p.m. game. The Lynx, meanwhile, travel to Elms College on Tuesday for a 7:00 p.m. matchup.
