Rigsby Records A Career-High 61 Saves In Loss To Endicott

BEVERLY, Mass. –The Becker College women's ice hockey team fell to Endicott College 4-0 in Colonial Hockey Conference action Saturday afternoon at Raymond J. Bourque Area. The loss drops the Ice Hawks record to 1-4 (0-3 CHC), while the Gull remain undefeated at 4-0 (3-0 CHC).

After the first two periods went by without a goal scored, Endicott exploded for four goals in the third.

Teneal Perry put the Gulls on the board 1:09 into the third period on assists from Michaela McNamara and Nicole Demers. Perry netted an unassisted goal at 7:59 to increase the Endicott lead to 2-0. Jade Meier got in on the scoring frenzy at 10:53, with the assists coming from Samantha Fuller and Madison Huber. Perry would complete the hat-trick with 7:31 remaining in regulation to make the score 4-0.

Becker goalie Madison Rigsby (O'Fallon, Mo.) kept the Hawks in the game with a career high 61 saves.

The two teams will complete their home and home series tomorrow evening with Becker hosting Endicott at 7:40 p.m.
