Women's Lacrosse Blanks Wildcats

LEICESTER, Mass.- Sophomore goalie Shelby Wicks (Shaftsbury, Vt.) steered Becker College women's lacrosse to a 22-0 win over Bay Path College in New England Collegiate Conference action Saturday afternoon. The Hawks advance to 7-4 (2-0 NECC), while the Wildcats drop to 0-6 (0-3 NECC).

Junior Tatum Fahs (Foster, R.I.) was the offensive leader for the game, scoring a game high four goals. Seniors Christina Boucher (Pawcatuck, Conn.) and Victoria Belcher (Seekonk, Mass.) along with sophomore Kailee Ruyack (Beacon, N.Y.) each netted an additional hat tricks for the Hawks. Senior Ashley Mossey (Ballston Lake, N.Y.) also tallied two goals in the game.

Seniors Jacqueline Chila (Monroe, Conn.) and Samantha-Jo Dilkes, (Little Falls, N.J.) sophomore Rachel Welling, (Cherlestown, N.H.) and freshman Erika Galdamez (Concord, Calif.) all chipped in with a goal apiece for Becker.

Senior Katelin Burdick (Pawcatuck, Conn.) and junior Amy Giguere (Colrain, Mass.) scored their first goals of the season for the Hawks.

In net for the Wildcats, sophomore Kimberly Drahushuk (Hudson, N.Y.) had a total of 13 saves.

Both teams will jump back into NECC action for their next game on Tuesday, April 15. Becker College will travel to Wheelock College for a 3:30 p.m. start, while Bay Path will host Elms College at4:00 p.m.
