Ashley Mossey became the head coach of the Becker College women's lacrosse program in the fall of 2017.
In 2019, Mossey's second season at the helm of the Hawks, she led Becker to the greatest single-season improvement in history as they went 13-2, reaching the NECC championship game for only the third time in school history. Senior Nikolle Storey was voted NECC Goalkeeper of the Year while freshman Clare Conway was voted NECC Rookie of the Year. Four other Hawks were voted to the NECC All-Conference team.
In her first year with Hawks, Mossey coached Second Team All-Conference goalie, Nikolle Storey, who set the school record in career saves, finishing her junior year with 467.
Mossey, herself, was one of the most distinguished female student-athletes to graduate from Becker, as she holds Becker’s all-time goals (232) and all-time points (246) records for the women’s lacrosse team. She was the NECC conference player of the year twice (2013 & 2014).
Prior to rejoining the Hawks as a coach, Mossey was an assistant coach at Marywood University, and spent the previous two seasons as an assistant coach at Wesley College. She also was a part of a club organization, the NEPA Pirates in Pennsylvania.
She currently acts as the Becker College SAAC Advisor.
Mossey graduated from Becker in 2014 with a degree in Business Administration and earned a master's degree in Sport Leadership in 2016 at Wesley College.
