FIRST HALF
Becker would strike first in the twelfth minute when they drew a foul in the box in Nichols' zone. Senior forward Lindsey Keith (Sutton, Mass. / Sutton) took the shot and put it in the left-hand corner of the net for her team-leading eighth goal of the season as the Hawks went ahead 1-0.

In the 44th minute, Nichols senior defender Julia Yewcic (Stoneham, Mass. / Stoneham) fielded a cross from 40 yards out to the right side of the Becker goal, making a short pass to avoid the defender and finding junior midfielder Nicole Gidley (Dartmouth, Mass. / Dartmouth) for a point-blank shot in her first goal of the season. The teams went into halftime with the score tied at 1-1.

SECOND HALF
With just under 26 minutes to go, Becker had a great chance when sophomore midfielder Shannon Kelley (Bellingham, Mass. / Blackstone Valley Technical) found sophomore midfielder Kyra Teixeira (Old Lyme, Conn. / Lyme-Old Lyme) with a short pass right in front of the net and with the defense beat. But the shot went wide left and the score remained tied.
In the 67th minute, the stalemate was broken when Nichols freshman Madison Clark (Tolland, Conn. / Tolland) found senior midfielder Kaylin Goncalves (Norwood, Mass. / Norwood) for a blast from 20 yards out as the Bison went up 2-1.

In the 76th minute, Teixeira found redemption when she tapped in a cross from the right side from Kelley, knotting the game at 2-2.

With 4:29 to go, Becker was awarded a penalty kick off a Nichols hand ball in the box. But Keith's shot was turned away and the teams remained tied.

Then in the 88th minute, Keith took a corner kick and dropped it in perfectly as Kelley headed the shot into the back of the net, giving the Hawks the 3-2 victory.
