Phonesavanh is going into her firth season as the head coach of the women’s lacrosse program and fourth season as the head women’s soccer coach.  Phonesavanh has also served as the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) advisor for the past three years.

Under Phonesavanh’s guidance, the Hawks qualified for the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) post season soccer tournament the past three years.  The Hawks received four NECC All tournament selections, six NECC All Conference selections, and two All Academic selections.

Coach Phonesavanh is determined to continue developing the Hawks young lacrosse program.  Over the past three years the Hawks have received six New England Lacrosse Alliance All Conference selections.  One former player still holds an NCAA record for most goals scored in a single season (115).

Phonesavanh’s resume includes a three year stint as the assistant women’s lacrosse coach at Eastern Connecticut State University.  During that time the Warriors were Little East Conference (LEC) Finalist in 2006, LEC champions in 2005, NCAA  Tournament participants in 2005 (losing to Salisbury University the eventual National Champion) and ECAC New England Championship finalists in 2004.

The Danielson, CT resident is an Eastern Connecticut State University alumnus, playing for Warriors on the soccer and lacrosse programs.  She was a two time All Little East Conference selection.  Phonesavanh was also an Eastern E-Club Scholar-Athlete.

Title: Assistant Coach

Kim Bridge enters her second season as an assistant coach for the Becker College women’s soccer team, as well as serving as an assistant coach to the women’s lacrosse program. A graduate of Eastern Connecticut where she earned a teaching credential in Physical Education and Health, Bridge brings 17 years of experience planning, developing and facilitating soccer programs. Bridge also coached the varsity team at Putnam high school, where she had worked since 2005. Coach Bridge was an All-American goalkeeper at Dean College where she was the 1997 women's athlete of the year and was inducted into the Athletics Hall of Fame in 2010. After her collegiate career, Bridge played professionally with the W-2 Springfield Sirens, where she won a National Championship and was the Goalkeeper of the Year, then won another National Championship with the W-1 Boston Renegades and was a national finalist with the New England Mutiny of the WPSL.

Title: Assistant Coach

Mike Schroeder enters his third year as a member of the Becker College women's soccer team staff.

Prior to joining the staff at Becker, Coach Schroeder served as a head coach with both Moultonborough Academy and Warren Youth Soccer Association.  He is a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and holds a National Diploma license.

Coach Schroeder earned a Master's degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a Bachelor's degree from Rochester Institute of Technology.  He resides in Worcester with his wife, Bethany, and two children, Kayla and William.
