Becker Tennis Wins Third Straight
Leicester, Mass- The Lady Hawks defeated Anna Maria 9-0 for their third win in a row.
In doubles action, Allison Flynn (Wilmington, MA) and Catherine Sivret (Stow, MA) defeated Michelle Gregoire (North Brookfield, MA) and Natasha Dziokonski (Worcester, Ma) 8-0. Shauna McNally (Shrewsbury, MA) and Sarah Ryzewski (Spencer, MA) matched their teammate's success by defeating Brittany Curron (Revere, MA) and Lexie Zabik (Westfield, MA) 8-0. The Hawks had a commanding 3-0 lead heading into singles action.
In singles play, freshmen Megan Nessan (Levittown, PA) continued her success by defeating Dominque Marchard (Mendon, MA) in straight sets 6-0, 6-0. Allison Flynn improved her record to 4-4 as the Hawks number one singles player by defeating Michelle Gregoire 6-1, 6-1. Catherine Sivret remained perfect on the season (5-0) in singles by defeating Natasha Dziokonski 6-1, 6-0.
The Hawks will try and make it four straight wins when they host conference rival Bay Path College on Friday at 3:30 pm in Leicester. The Hawks lost 5-4 to Bay Path on September 17th.
