Women's Volleyball off to best start with win at Mass Maritime

BUZZARDS BAY, Mass. --- The Becker College women's volleyball team won in three sets at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy on Saturday, 25-19, 25-18, 25-15.

Inside the Numbers

  • Becker runs its record to 4-1, the best start in school history since joining the NCAA 20 years ago.
  • Senior middle blocker Kayla Dupree (North Bergen, N.J. / Bronx Science) had a team high nine kills and five total blocks to go along with two service aces.
  • Sophomore outside hitter Emily Peterman (Vancouver, Wash. / Home schooled) had four kills and two service aces.
  • Freshman setter Jenna Savoie (Charlton, Mass. / Shepard Hill) set up the offense with 17 set assists.

Becker is back in action on Tuesday when they host Emmanuel College at 7:00 p.m.
