GAME SUMMARY

Quality offensive opportunities were at a premium until 50 seconds into the fourth quarter, Iacovelli ran on to a loose ball at midfield and began her charge at goal.

Iacovelli stickhandled past three defenders as she approached the penalty arc with no defenders in front of her.

The Hawks leading goal scorer made no mistake, firing a shot past AMCATS sophomore goalie Cassie Micklesavage (Pottstown, Pa.) giving the Hawks a 1-0 lead.

Becker had to avoid some tense moments in the last 30 seconds of the match with Anna Maria junior Chayna Bingham-Hendricks (Mashpee, Mass.) sending a cross in front of the Hawks goal that was redirected by senior Allyson Shaw (Holden, Mass.)

Becker sophomore goalie Baileigh Griese (Woodstock, N.Y.) stood tall on the redirection, making her first of two critical saves in the final moments.

Anna Maria earned a corner with time winding down and Griese again made a critical save through a maze of bodies and scrum out front to preserve the victory.
