Early in the second, junior Brett Mecrones (Medford, Mass.) gave the Nor'easters a 4-0 lead.

The Hawks got on the board at 5:27 of the second on a power-play goal by freshman Joshua Sanchez (Potsdam, N.Y.), cutting the deficit to 4-1.

UNE had the next three in the period, finishing the second with a 7-1 lead heading into the intermission.

Becker opened the scoring in the third on the Hawks second power-play goal of the night, this time from junior Phillip Garcia (Brooklyn, N.Y.).
