Becker College welcomed Mark Wirth as the head men's lacrosse coach in the summer of 2019.

With comes to Becker from Connecticut College where he spent the last two seasons as the assistant men’s lacrosse coach.  As an assistant he saw all aspects of the program - from coaching to recruiting to strength & conditioning of the Camels men’s lacrosse team.  Wirth previously served as the director of lacrosse operations at Lehigh during the 2016-17 academic year.  In this position, he assisted with organizing team events, building relationships with the community, recruiting, team travel, and also ran the team’s social media accounts while making them more interactive.  Furthermore, he spent the summer of 2017 working as a developmental assistant coach at the U-9 level for HEADstrong Lehigh Valley.

Prior to beginning his professional career, Wirth played on the men’s lacrosse team at Lock Haven from 2012-15 as a faceoff specialist and defensive midfielder. A native of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, he earned his bachelor’s degree in sport administration from Lock Haven University in 2016 as well as his master’s in the same discipline from the institution in 2018.
