Morrisville State too much for Women's Ice Hockey, 4-1

MARLBORO, Mass. --- The Becker College women's ice hockey team lost 4-1 to visiting Morrisville State University on Saturday night at the New England Sports Center in Marlboro.  


The Ice Hawks of Becker (7-11-2, 1-7 CHC) got their sole goal of the game from sophomore defenseman Emily Dennee (Chandler, Ariz. / Arizona Lady Coyotes). Sophomore goaltender Julia Johnson (Littleton, Colo. / Walpole Express) finished with 25 saves between the pipes.


The Mustangs of Morrisville State (16-2-1, 6-0 CHC) got two goals from freshman defender Jessica Ujcik (Munich, Germany / HTI Stars). Sophomore forward Stephanie Strymecki (Kelowna, British Columbia / Thompson Okanagan Lakers) scored a goal and had one assist, while senior forward Kanekaroroks McComber (Kahnawake, Quebec / Norwich University) also scored.


Becker is back on the ice on Saturday when they travel to SUNY Canton for a 7:00 p.m. game. Morrisville State hosts Endicott College on Friday at 4:00 p.m.
