Conway, Ravenelle lead Women's Lacrosse past Southern Vermont

LEICESTER, Mass. --- The Becker College women's lacrosse team soared to victory over visiting Southern Vermont College in New England Collegiate Conference action on Saturday at Alumni Field on the campus of Becker College in Leicester, prevailing by a score of 20-1.

• Freshman attacker Clare Conway (Billerica, Mass. / Billerica Memorial) led Becker with five goals, six assists, three ground balls and two caused turnovers. Conway's six assists tied a single-game Becker school record.
• Freshman attacker Julia Ravenelle (Barrington, N.H. / Oyster River) scored a career-high six goals for the Hawks, with three assists, three ground balls and two caused turnovers.
• Junior midfielder Cassandra Nelson (Exeter, N.H. / Exeter) posted a hat trick with three goals and one assist with two draw controls.
• Sophomore attacker Arianna Calouro (East Providence, R.I. / East Providence) scored two goals with one assist.
• Freshman attacker Shannon Siclari (West Haven, Conn. / West Haven) added two goals.
• Junior attacker Samantha D'Auteuil (Columbia, Conn. / Bolton) and junior midfielder Samantha Carter (Boothbay Harbor, Maine / Boothbay Region) both scored a goal.
• Freshman defender Kylian Kelly (Shrewsbury, Mass. / Shrewsbury) controlled the tempo of the game with nine draw controls – tied for seventh in school history – to go along with five ground balls and two caused turnovers.
• Sophomore defender Emma Schoenbeck (Gorham, N.H. / Gorham) led the defensive effort with six ground balls and two caused turnovers.
• Senior goalkeeper Nikolle Storey (Cumberland, Maine / Kents Hill) picked up the win, recording four saved in 45 minutes.
• Becker reached the 20 goal plateau for the first time since April 23, 2016 when they beat Mitchell College, 20-10.
• With 14 total assists on the day as a team, the Hawks had their third most team assists in a game in the history of the program.

• Sophomore midfielder Alex Safford (Burnt Hills, N.Y. / Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) scored Southern Vermont's only goal of the game to go along with two ground balls and two caused turnovers.
• Senior goalkeeper Sydnee Julian (Mexico, N.Y. / Mexico) made nine saves in net.

The Hawks are back on the field on Thursday when they host Northern Vermont University – Lyndon in a 6:00 p.m. game as part of Senior Night. The Mountaineers host Dean College next Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
